4 REASONS TO PICK OZONEAIR

Ozoneair ozongenerator plus

OSCILLATING INTERVALS

A unique technology that customizes the amount of ozone, the total treatment time and intervals to reach deeper odors and prevent damage that could otherwise be caused when the concentration of ozone in the space is too high.

FULLY AUTOMATIC

Ozoneair operates on autopilot. All you need to do is set the size of the space you want to purify, and the treatment program is tailored to your needs, with the correct time and intensity.

TRIED AND TESTED

Ozoneair is a tried and tested product that is also widely used commercially for buses, trains, hotel rooms and buildings, among other things.

Are you thinking about buying an ozone generator?

Are you thinking about buying an ozone generator to purify the air and get rid of bad odors? There are several different devices available on the market. But in what way are they different from each other, and what determines whether an ozone generator provides good results and is safe to use? Here’s your guide to prepare you for your purchase.

Ozone Generator vs. Air Purifier

A lot of people get ozone generators and air purifiers mixed up, but they are two entirely different products.

An air purifier usually has a filter that captures particles (e.g., from pollen or air pollutants) and it must constantly stay on in order to purify the air.

An ozone generator can be used occasionally. It clears odors from a room or other space on a deeper level using the gas ozone. The ozone generator Ozoneair removes bad odors, mold spores, bacteria, allergens, and other harmful microorganisms in just a few hours. It also eliminates odors that have settled in surfaces and materials. You can get rid of severe odors such as odor from mold, smoke and urine. One treatment is usually enough, but you may occasionally need to repeat the treatment once or twice.

Benefits of Ozoneair:

Information about ozone generators

Ozone is a gas called active oxygen. The molecule consists of three oxygen atoms and is a strong oxidizing agent. When the ozone encounters the molecules that cause bad odors, it oxidizes them – removing the odors. The ozone also breaks the cell walls of bacteria and mold spores to stop them from reproducing. Ozone molecules that don’t oxidize will naturally break down and turn back into oxygen.

The gas ozone can be produced in different ways. It’s important to pay attention to the way in which ozone is produced in the ozone generator. While some generators are efficient, they cause more residual products to be produced, and these can be hazardous to your health.

Different methods of producing ozone:

Ultraviolet light

UV light with a specific wavelength can be used to produce ozone. However, these levels of ozone are very low, and they generally only work if they are supplied continuously. This method works best in garbage disposal rooms, public bathrooms, and other places you only stay in for a short period of time.

+ Good for continuous air purification.
+ Does not cause harmful residual products.
– The levels of ozone are not high enough to have an effect on bacteria, mold spores, viruses and allergens, or severe odors that have settled in surfaces and materials.

Corona discharge

A so-called corona discharge converts oxygen (O2) to ozone (O3). The oxygen passes through an electric field that divides oxygen into atomic oxygen which then attaches itself to the oxygen in the air to form ozone.

Two different types of corona discharges are used in ozone generators: high frequency and low frequency.

High frequency corona discharge

Produces high levels of ozone, but also forms residual products that can be harmful.

+ Ozone levels are high enough to have an effect on severe odors, mold spores, bacteria, viruses and allergens.
– May form harmful residual products, such as sulfuric acid and nitric oxide, which are hazardous to health in large enough quantities. The residual products can also damage materials in the space that is being treated.
– The ozone generator has a limited life span, in many cases as short as 200 hours.

– Can be used continuously for a short time only.

Ozoneair

Produces high levels of ozone without residual products. Ozoneair uses a unique technology where a very large surface area is used for weaker discharges. This means pure ozone can be produced without harmful residual products. This also gives rise to other benefits of the ozone generator such as a longer life span and more stable operation.

+ Ozone levels are high enough to have an effect on severe odors, mold spores, bacteria, viruses and allergens.
+ Does not form harmful residual products. The method is gentle on materials in the space that’s being treated.
+ You can use your Ozoneair to perform about 1000 treatments (and then refill it).
+ The treatment time is normally 2-4 hours per room/space. Then you can continue the treatment in more spaces immediately. Ozoneair can be used continuously for up to 12 hours.

Spreading the right amount of ozone during the right amount of time is the key to a good result. It is also crucial to avoid damaging plastic, rubber, electronics, and other materials.

A conventional ozone generator spreads the highest amount of ozone closest to the product itself and only operates for a short time. The high ozone concentration around the appliance results in a greater risk of damaging materials. In addition, you often have to repeat the treatment as many odor problems require treatment for more than just a short time.

Ozoneair ozone generator uses a unique, self-developed control technology that adjusts the amount of ozone to get the optimal level. It operates at oscillating intervals, meaning the intensity varies while it’s distributing the ozone. In this way the ozone can be distributed more evenly throughout the space and the gas can work at a deeper level. Ozoneair is fully automatic and calculates the optimal treatment time and ozone levels based on the space you want to treat. That way, you get the maximum effect while eliminating the risk of damage. Ozoneair has been tested by running it for hundreds of hours to ensure that it can’t damage any materials in your home.
